MINERVA Concluding Conference / 01 December 2022

On December 1st, 2022, in a hybrid regime, the Concluding Conference of the ERASMUS+ project "Strengthening research management and open science capacities of HEIs in Moldova and Armenia - MINERVA" took place (reference number: 597912-EPP-1-2018- 1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP), co-financed by the European Union.

During the MINERVA Concluding Conference, the results of the implementation of the project were presented, the next steps to be taken in order to strengthen the research and Open Science management capacities of the higher education institutions from the Republic of Moldova and Armenia in Moldova, as well as trends, challenges, prospects for their development .

The MINERVA concluding conference was opened with a speech by Olesea SIRBU, project grant coordinator, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Academt of Economic Studies of Moldova with a presentation of the objectives, activities and important achievements of the MINERVA project, followed by the speech given by the guests of honor of the conference, such as Alexandru STRATAN, Rector of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Nadejda VELIȘCO, Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Research of Moldova, Ani VIRABYAN, Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Vadim IAȚCHEVICI, Director of the National Agency for Research and Development.

The program of the MINERVA project concluding conference was divided into working sessions, dedicated to the presentation of the results obtained. The partners from the Republic of Moldova, Armenia, Italy, Spain, Belgium presented the activities and the results obtained of each work package. Another part of the event was dedicated to the discussion of open scientific culture as an important element of the new paradigm of conducting research.
