Between October 17-21, 2022 as part of the MINERVA project, the study visit to the Guglielmo Marconi University, in Rome, Italy took place, dedicated to ensuring the development and sustainability of open science.

The study visit to the Guglielmo Marconi University took place within the project "Strengthening research management and open science capacities of HEIs in Moldova and Armenia - MINERVA", reference number: 597912-EPP-1-2018-1-MD-EPPKA2- CBHE-SP, co-financed by the European Commission, within the ERASMUS+ program.

During the study visit, the representatives of the host university shared the Guglielmo Marconi University's perspective on open science in Italy, after which the specialists presented relevant and current topics about the learning process, among which we mention the following: the concept of transmedia and education based on games for experimental online education, synergy between academia and industry to strengthen higher education innovation, accessibility of distance education, digital infrastructures for educational media research.

Partner Countries representatives also had the opportunity to visit the laboratories of the Guglielmo Marconi University, this being an experience that contributed to the consolidation of the accumulated theoretical knowledge.

Following the study visit, the participants identified alternative forms of online teaching and realized the importance of maintaining a digital research infrastructure that provides available and accessible educational resources.
