In the framework of the MINERVA project – Strengthening Research Management and Open Science Capacities of HEIs in Moldova and Armenia (Ref. Nr. 597912-EPP-1-2018-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP) has been realized the Virtual Study Visit to the University Guglielmo Marconi, ITALY, that took place on 17-18 May, 2021. The study Visit was dedicated to the identification of the standards related to the OS services (WP3/D3.1/A3.1.2).
Representatives of the Moldovan and Armenian OS-UWGs in partnership with other members of the MINERVA Consortium, participated in various activities, focused on transferring experience and knowledge related to research data planning, sharing, and management. During the 2-day event, the experience of the European partners and other Italian public institutions on the project matter have been shared, interactive presentations have been realized by the representatives of the Host Institution - Guglielmo Marconi University, National Research Council of Italy, Library System Consortium of Castelli Romani, National Laboratory of Frascati (LNF) of the National Institute for Nuclear Physics, Tor Vergata Library (ARTOV.
The discussions were held on the following topics:
- Open science in the Italian researcher perspective;
- Challenges and best practices from the Italian public research institutions;
- Dimensions and issues of the national research council libraries;
- Presentation of the Castelli Romani System;
The working sessions were realized in English and presentations realized by the European Project Partners have been completed by interactive discussions and questions and answers sessions.
